John Gohol

John - affectionately called JohnJohn by his family - had been suffering from leukemia since December 2016. The family received the diagnosis shortly after Christmas on December 27. Due to financial problems, not all chemotherapies could be kept on schedule. However, the family was able to somehow manage the previous treatment with the help of organizations, friends, etc.

JohnJohn received another bone marrow puncture, after which another chemo cycle started.

Everything looked very good, but the chemotherapy severely damaged John’s small body, and in February 2025, he was taken to the hospital with water in his lungs. There, after two days during which John could hardly breathe, it was decided to put him into a medically induced coma. Unfortunately, he passed away on February 25, 2025. We were able to support John for nearly 7 years and are very sad that he ultimately lost the fight.
