Josietry

Josietry suffers from ovarian cancer. In January 2017, she suddenly developed abdominal pain, but she did not have it examined due to her family’s lack of money. When the pain got worse in March 2017, her mother took Josietry to the hospital, and a tumor was found in one of her ovaries. She then received chemotherapy, and the tumor as well as the ovary were surgically removed. Josietry’s family has difficulty raising the money for the treatment, but the good news is that she is currently receiving her last chemo. Josietry’s mother is now trying to raise the money for this last treatment. When I visited Josietry in the hospital, she was very optimistic and fit. She is very much looking forward to being able to go back to school soon.
Josietry is now considered cancer-free and currently only receives follow-up examinations to ensure that the cancer cells do not return.
