Tara

Tara was taken to the hospital in June 2024 because she had great pain in her leg. After some examinations, it turned out that an MRSA bacterium was attacking her bones.

This bacterium is resistant to most antibiotics and therefore needs special treatment. Because the parents were unable to finish the treatment during the first round due to financial difficulties, the inflammation worsened and the bone became brittle. Therefore, another surgery was necessary, and since then Tara has been wearing an external fixator.

We have been able to support Tara for several months now, and the antibiotic treatment has been continued.

Now Tara needs another operation to rebuild the bone so that she can soon walk again without the fixator, which naturally limits her life very much. The operation will cost around 3000 euros, and we will try to cover these costs.
